CENTER FOR STUDENT RETENTION AND SUCCESS
Ms. Leatrice Latimore, Director

The major goal of the Center for Student Retention and Success is to plan for and implement a university wide student retention program that will result in an increase in student retention, and ultimately, graduation.  This goal is accomplished through the collaborative efforts of college deans, department chairs, instructional faculty, and members of the student affairs components of the University.

In addition, SUNO's mission commits the University to formulating a working program to assure students' success by maintaining an environment conducive to learning and growth, to promote the upward mobility to all people by preparing them to enter into new as well as traditional careers, and to equip them to function optimally in the mainstream of American society.
