FUTURE STUDENTS

Students entering Southern University at New Orleans in the fall of 2010 will have to satisfy ONE of the following criteria for admission

 

  • Completion of the Louisiana Board of Regents high school core curriculum (also TOPS core curriculum); AND
  • Requirement of no more than one remedial course for immediate admission; AND
  • High school GPA of 2.0 or greater.
  • Completion of the Louisiana Board of Regents high school core curriculum (also TOPS core curriculum); AND
  • Requirement of no more than one remedial course for immediate admission; AND
  • ACT composite score of 20 (SAT 950) or greater.
  • Completion of the Louisiana Board of Regents high school core curriculum (also TOPS core curriculum); AND
  • Requirement of no more than one remedial course for immediate admission; AND
  • High school graduation rank to 50% of class.

 

Please note that the new application fee is $20; $35 for international students.
